Dyan Angela A. De La Fuente, is an Associate and a member of the Tax and Corporate Departments of the Firm.

Dyan’s practice involves a wide array of engagements such as representing clients before various government agencies including the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Bureau of Customs, Securities and Exchange Commission, and local government units. Prior to joining the Firm, she was affiliated with SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.), a Philippine member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited, as a Senior Associate. She primarily handled retainer accounts for multinational and local companies including sectors from the automobile, pharmaceutical, construction, media, and service industries.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree, major in Legal Management, from San Beda College - Manila in 2010 where she graduated with Academic Distinction. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the same school in 2015 and was admitted to the Bar in 2016. Dyan, a civil service eligible, was a member of the Civil Law Subject Committee of San Beda College Bar Operations during her legal studies.

Dyan’s recent transactions include:

• Advising various domestic and foreign companies as to the tax implications of their transactions and arriving at effective and efficient tax structures from the Philippine perspective;
• Handling tax assessments of companies belonging to different industries and sectors;
• Advising various domestic and foreign companies in connection with compliance on customs laws and regulations;
• Setting up business in the Philippines, including post-incorporation registration, after taking into consideration the optimum corporate structure that meets the client’s goals and needs; and
• Assisting in contract review of individuals and corporations, and providing other corporate services.
